We're getting back into the flow this week with two HAF days out and about in Marple & Stockport, (check our socials for photos!) but before we really get going we wanted to know what you are looking forward to this year? We'll go first, here's our list of special things happening for us this year!
We're looking forward to:
Developing our offer to start working across the Pennines in Leeds.
Developing new programmes that support EAL learners and young people who are asylum seekers/ refugees.
Working with Stockport Council and local educational providers to help tackle the issue of exclusions in the area.
Developing our STUFF Magazine project further with our friends at Start Point.
Offering a wider range of volunteering opportunities for young people.
Developing a youth panel to help feed into our future planning.
Year 3 of our Into the Mix project.
Continuing to work with our long term partners including Unity Academy, Hyde High School, Stockport County, Start Point, Goodness Collective and Stockport Council.
Mostly we are just excited to see what this year holds for PIE and the people we work with!
