Welcome to our third installment of Poetry Corner! Introduced by our own Antony Szmierek:
"Morgan wrote this around the time of the first Christmas after the pandemic. He had been working on using synonyms and being extra descriptive and it really pays off here. It is full of hope but also has a layer of mystery."

A single pearl star shone,
It laughs with the marshmallow moon,
Sometimes even cries,
The heavenly body below this…
…the shining star…
Shadows
In the aquamarine river
Morgan
