We're pleased to publish this year's Youth Summit Impact Report in full!
Here at PIE, the Youth Summit is a big date in our calendar! We spend weeks visiting schools and laying the groundwork, liaising and planning with partners and funders to make the Summit as successful as possible. This year's Summit was bigger than ever, so give our report a read below, and scroll to the end for a quick update from Evie about what has happened since....
Youth Summit Follow Up - from Evie:
On the 16th March, a handful of the L!STEN steering group attended a meeting at Stopford House with the Chief Executive of Stockport Council, Michael Cullen and the Director of Education, Tim Bowman to discuss the report from this year's Youth Summit.
We dove straight into feeding back about the different workshops at the summit but we mainly focussed on travel safety and how public transport makes many young people feel unsafe. Both Michael and Tim are going to feedback the concerns to TFGM and discuss next steps to make public transport safer and more accessible for young people.

What a great first step! We are looking forward to further progress being made and impact from the Summit felt throughout the year and the sector in Stockport.
